Why December Is The Perfect Month To Visit Your Dentist

Blog

You’re busy – we know that! Maybe you’re celebrating the holidays, or maybe you’re just enjoying some time off from work. Either way, it can be difficult to stick to your dental routine during the holiday season. But don’t worry, you’re not alone! Just about everyone else is in the same boat. That’s why it’s the perfect time to schedule your next appointment with your Mesa dentist.

Many dental offices in Mesa are scheduling patients now for the New Year or early spring. That way, if you do have any dental issues come up or become aware that there’s a problem area in your mouth that needs attention, you can get in to see your dentist before the holiday season is in full swing. Since most people become busier during the holidays, the more open spots in the schedules of dentists will likely be filled by mid-January. So don’t delay any longer; call your dentist today to reserve your spot!

Don’t forget that the end of the year also gives you an opportunity to get a jump on the next calendar year and take steps to prevent certain problems from arising next year. For example, if you feel that your dental health could use a bit of improvement, why not start making some changes to your daily routine? That can include brushing your teeth twice each day, flossing once a day, changing up your toothpaste to one that is better at preventing tooth decay or even switching to an electric toothbrush that could give you a better clean than a manual one. All of these things could help improve your smile, so make the commitment to improving your oral hygiene habits now so that you can reap the benefits of them throughout the new year and beyond!

No Insurance Deductibles Yet to Hit

It’s never too early to start protecting your teeth! One way to do that is to visit your dentist in Mesa, AZ, for preventive care. Preventive care includes professional cleanings twice a year and X-rays once a year. This way, you can prevent tooth decay or gum disease from forming in the first place. Plus, you don’t have to deal with any pesky insurance deductibles at the beginning of the year! If you wait until after the new year to take care of your oral health, you may have to pay a higher copay. That’s more money out of your pocket than you would have to pay if you visited the dentist now. If it’s been a while since you’ve seen a dentist, it’s time to schedule your checkup before the end of the year!

We hope that helps explain why December is a perfect month to visit your dentist. Do you have questions about your oral health or dental care in general? Visit Newport Smiles Dental Spa at 570 W 19th St, Costa Mesa, CA 92627, or call (949) 642-1033.

It was a pleasure to serve the community of the Central Coast for over 15 years, Also the Newport Beach Community for the past 6 years and now I am happy to announce my new practice in Costa Mesa, California. I enjoy spending time with my two children, traveling, and visiting with family and friends. My professional career has been dedicated to providing patients with the best that dentistry has to offer. I graduated in December 1994 from the Federal University of South River in Brazil. I received my license to practice in the state of California in the year of 2000.

I have a strong sense of diversity due to my many active memberships in professional organizations: Orange County Dental Association (OCDS), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Central Coast Dental Association (CCDA), Brazilian Dental Association (ABO), I had the privilege to participate in the Santa Maria Valley Dart Dental Clinic and Give Kids a Free Smile for the last 5 years.
